Is Jeff Okudah a possibility for the Redskins in the first round?

The Ohio State CB put on a show at the combine.

Do the Washington Redskins have a tougher decision than anticipated at No. 2 in the 2020 NFL draft?

The front office just might after Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah put on an epic show at the combine in Indianapolis.

Okudah entered the event viewed as the best corner in the draft and left it arguably surpassing expectations. He measured well and then was show-stealing in the drills.

Rest assured Okudah was probably already high on Washington’s draft board before the event. Maybe his performance didn’t change the board, but it’s a question work asking at this stage of the process.

Granted, any idea of the Redskins “settling” for Okudah instead of taking Chase Young also brings up the conversation of trading down from No. 2. If that’s the preferred course of action — leaving Ryan Kerrigan to team with Montez Sweat — picking up more assets and grabbing the draft’s best corner after cutting Josh Norman isn’t the worst possible outcome.
