It sure sounds like the relationship between Chase Young and the Washington Redskins is getting off to a good start.
Young, the probable No. 2 pick by the Redskins this year, has made it clear he had a good sitdown with the team at the combine in Indianapolis.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson asked Young “What team interview stood out the most here?” and he kept it simple: the Redskins. He noted he met Dan Snyder during the process.
Young has previously already talked about his good relationship with Dwayne Haskins and otherwise when the subject of the Redskins came up.
While speculation has pointed out the Redskins could end up taking a quarterback like Tua Tagovailoa, smokescreen season is in full effect. As of now, the most logical outcome is the Redskins adding Young to a pass rush featuring Ryan Kerrigan and Montez Sweat.
This little note sure doesn’t hurt the logical idea of Young playing in Washington next season.
