The injury bug continues to bite the Philadelphia 76ers in big ways. They were already down two starters in Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid with long term injuries, but now they will lose Josh Richardson to an injury.
The Sixers starting shooting guard took some friendly fire from teammate Alec Burks to the face in the second quarter and he was then taken back to the locker room with a towel over his face. All of that is a bad sign for a Sixers team still working out their issues.
Richardson was then diagnosed with a nose contusion and was ruled out for the rest of the matchup. He finishes with nine points in 10:17 of playing time.

For a full look of the play, Burks just ran into Richardson and caught him in the face. It was a tough play for him.

At the moment, the Sixers are actually leading the Clippers 72-70 in a high scoring affair. Shake Milton has 26 points to lead the way. [lawrence-related id=26843,26835,26822]
