The expectations were high and Oklahoma’s star linebacker delivered.

Kenneth Murray looked the part of a physical specimen over the course of his career in Norman, Oklahoma. That only got confirmed in Indianapolis as the former Sooners linebacker weighed in at the NFL Combine at 6-foot-2, 241 pounds and an 80 inch wingspan.

The highly-touted NFL prospect put that athleticism on display—Murray ran a blazing 4.52 40-yard dash in his first attempt.

That time was good for sixth among linebackers at the 2020 NFL Combine. Murray was unable to finish through his second attempt after pulling up and grabbing his hamstring.

The former Oklahoma linebacker vertically jumped 38 inches, which was also good for sixth among linebackers at the Combine. Murray broad jumped 10-feet-9-inches, which was good for third among linebackers.

He was unable to participate in on the field drills due to his hamstring injury.

Many NFL Draft experts have given Murray a first-round NFL Draft grade and many also have him getting selected in the first-round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

In his junior season, the star linebacker recorded 102 tackles, which included four sacks and a career-high 17 tackles for loss. Murray started in all 42 games of his Oklahoma career.

Oklahoma’s Pro Day will take place on March 11. It has not been announced if Murray will be ready to go or participate after suffering the hamstring injury at the NFL Combine.
