ESPN’s Turron Davenport dropped multiple lists of 2020 NFL Draft prospects that the Tennessee Titans have met with during this year’s combine in Indianapolis.
Here’s the list of running backs the Titans have met with, per Davenport.
- Cam Akers, Florida State
- Eno Benjamin, Arizona State
- J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
- Clyde Edwards-Helaire, LSU
- Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Vanderbilt
- Zack Moss, Utah
- D’Andre Swift, Georgia
- AJ Dillon, Boston College
- Anthony McFarland, Maryland
Of the players on this list, we already knew about Vaughn, as his informal meeting with the Titans was reported a few days ago.
Now, here’s a look at the cornerbacks the Titans have met with, all of whom Davenport says can play the nickel.
- Darnay Holmes, UCLA
- Jeff Gladney, TCU
- Amik Robertson, Louisiana Tech
- Dane Jackson, Pitt
- Kindle Vildor, Georgia Southern
Tennessee has also met with LSU corner, Kristian Fulton, per a separate report.
Davenport also dropped a list of offensive linemen the Titans have met with, which you can check out here. For all meetings, you can go to our combine tracker.
The Titans will be in the market for a running back this offseason regardless of what happens with free agent back, Derrick Henry. If Henry doesn’t return for some reason, nabbing a running back becomes even more important.
Tennessee’s No. 2 back, Dion Lewis, hasn’t panned out the way the team hoped when it signed him to a long-term deal back in 2018. As a result, Lewis is one of the most likely cut candidates the team has this offseason.
As far as needing a cornerback is concerned, that will greatly depend on what happens this offseason.
There’s a chance Logan Ryan moves on in free agency, and Malcolm Butler is a cut candidate. I’d venture to guess the former is much more likely than the latter, but there’s no telling what can happen.
