Draymond Green scrimmages, is probable for Thursday vs. Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers will get a look at Draymond Green and the Warriors before Stephen Curry’s scheduled return.

The Los Angeles Lakers begin a three-game road trip on Thursday that will take them to the Bay Area and the deep south, starting with a visit to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James and the Lakers have already faced the Warriors twice this season, including earlier this month on Feb. 8 in what was Andrew Wiggins’ Golden State debut. On Thursday, the Warriors will be even closer to full strength, as they continue to wait for the return of superstar guard Stephen Curry.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green scrimmaged on Wednesday and is considered probable to play against the Lakers on Thursday, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Green played in the first regular season meeting against the Lakers back in mid-November, a 120-94 blowout win by the Lakers. The Warriors played the Lakers much closer on Feb. 8 at the Chase Center, even though the Lakers controlled much of the game, winning 125-120. Tomorrow’s Lakers-Warriors matchup will be televised nationally on TNT.
