Memphis Grizzlies rookie Brandon Clarke will not play on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets due to a right quadriceps injury, the team announced.
The first-round pick left the Grizzlies’ loss to the Los Angeles Clippers early on Monday night after logging just four minutes. The Grizzlies announced at the time that Clarke left because of right hip soreness.
He would not return to the contest versus the Clippers.
Clarke joins Jaren Jackson Jr. on the injury report for the matchup on Wednesday after the second-year forward left Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers early due to a knee injury.
