Burgess is a 3-star prospect, and the No. 158 wide receiver in his class on the 247Sports Composite at 5-foot-11, 177-pounds.
The speedy wideout attends Riverdale High School on the west coast, but has seen offers from several schools in the southeast. South Carolina, Florida State and Georgia Tech are just a few of the schools to offer Burgess other than Tennessee.
Tennessee currently has one wide receiver committed as part of the 2021 recruiting class. The Vols were able to sign four wideouts in the 2020 class, and added two more through transfer.
