Tennessee Titans punter Brett Kern shared the news that he added to an already impressive list of accomplishments from his 2019 season.
Kern, who finished fourth in gross and net average punt yards, and dropped more punts inside the 20 than any other punter in the NFL, earned his third trip to the Pro Bowl and first nod as a First-Team All-Pro.
Now, Kern has one more accolade, as he tweeted out a photo of the hardware Pro Football Focus sent him for being named its “Best Special Teams” player.

Year after year, Kern has been incredibly valuable to the Titans. His ability to flip the field has been a big reason for Tennessee’s success, especially when the offense has struggled.
Not to mention, Kern is a threat with fake punts and we saw his QB2-caliber arm in action when he connected with safety Kevin Byard for a first down during the Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
It’s nice to finally see Kern earning the respect he deserves as arguably the best punter in the NFL.
