File this one under things I did not expect. NBC put out this interesting infographic about the top six career earners for defensive players currently in the NFL. It came as something of a shock to see that No. 5 on the list was Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden.
According to NBC, Haden has earned $107.4 million in his 10-year career. This is a remarkable number and best among all current defensive backs in the NFL. Haden is preparing to enter his fifth season with the Steelers.
Haden spent his first seven seasons wallowing with the Cleveland Browns. But he’s found new life as one of the better cornerbacks in the AFC in a loaded Steelers defense.
