Cleveland Browns left tackle Greg Robinson has been arrested at a U.S. border checkpoint in possession of “a bunch” of marijuana, per TMZ Sports. The report has been confirmed by the AP, via ESPN.
According to the report, Robinson was detained at the Sierra Blanca border checkpoint on the Mexican/American border on Monday. While the exact quantity of marijuana in Robinson’s possession is unknown, he faces federal charges of possession with intent to distribute. The report from TMZ indicates Robinson remains in custody.
Robinson is currently a free agent after spending the last two seasons as the primary starting left tackle for Cleveland. His return to the Browns was in doubt after his uneven performance in 2018.
