The NFL recently released a video counting down the Top 100 catches from the 2019 season. If you’re a fan of the Washington Redskins, you have a reason to watch, as rookie sensation Terry McLaurin made the top-50 not once, but twice, hauling in the No. 41 and No. 19 catches in the league.
The No. 41 (12:28) catch went for a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers, when McLaurin reached behind his body and snagged the ball with one hand while in traffic. In my opinion, it should have been higher on the list, especially when you consider that one of the catches in the top 10 wasn’t even a catch, by the letter of the law.
McLaurin also was responsible for the No. 19 (17:40) catch on the list, this one coming against the New York Jets. McLaurin skied for the ball down the left sideline and got tangled up with a defender on the way down. As the two tumbled to the ground, McLaurin came up with the ball and somehow got two feet in.
Jonnu Smith’s one-handed catch in the Titans’ game against the Ravens is ranked No. 1. Check out all the catches in the above video.
