Feb. 24-March 2: NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana
Feb. 25: First day for teams to use franchise or transition tags
March 10: 4:00 p.m. ET, the deadline for teams to use franchise or transition tags
March 16-18: Legal tampering period begins for unrestricted free agents
March 18: All teams must be under 2020 salary cap by 4:00 p.m. ET
March 18: Teams can submit tenders for restricted and exclusive rights free agents
March 18: 2019 contract year expires
March 18: New league year, free agency and trading period begins at 4:00 p.m. ET
March 29-April 1: Annual League meeting in Palm Beach, Florida
April 17: Deadline for restricted free agents to sign tenders
April 20: Teams with returning head coaches (such as the Packers) can begin offseason workout program
April 23-25: 2020 NFL Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada
April 27: Teams can work out and sign players from the XFL
May 1-4: Window opens for three-day rookie minicamps
May 14-17: NFLPA Rookie Premiere
May 19-20: Spring League meeting in Marina Del Ray, California
Late May-June: 10 days of organized team activities (OTAs)
July 15: Deadline to sign franchise or transition tagged player to a multi-year contract
Mid-July: Start of training camp
