Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and his attorney quickly responded to Myles Garrett’s interview on ESPN, where the Browns defensive end reasserted his claim that Rudolph used a racial slur during the play that led to the infamous brawl.
Rudolph, through Younger & Associates, promptly released a written statement on Saturday morning shortly after Garrett’s interview on ESPN with Mina Kimes. The statement once again attacks Garrett’s claim and refutes any usage of the particular racial slur in question.
The statement strongly hints at legal action against Garrett for continuing to claim that Rudolph called him “the N-word”, something Garrett has claimed both in the aftermath of the November brawl and during the interview with Kimes.
