The former head coach of Louisville, Texas and South Florida, Charlie Strong, was visiting Nick Saban on the Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa.

Strong has been a member of numerous football programs across the country and has filled numerous roles aside from a head coaching position. He has been a defensive coordinator, line backer coach, wide receiver coach, defensive end coach and more in his coaching career.

Most recently, Strong was an analyst at the university of Florida. Alabama head coach Nick Saban is no stranger to bringing in former coaches and utilizing them as assistants.

Saban recently utilized Tennessee’s former head coach, Butch Jones, as an analyst for the Crimson Tide.

Strong may decide to join the Alabama staff, if Saban extends an offer, in order to help recover his image as a big-name head coach in the college football world.

There no reports of Strong officially joining Alabama nor are there any signs pointing to Saban offering him a position as of yet.

However, Roll Tide Wire will keep you updated on the situation and bring you any reports of the Charlie Strong and Alabama coaching staff relationship.
