Titans agree to terms on one-year deal with TE Anthony Firkser

Anthony Firkser will remain with the Tennessee Titans in 2020.

The team agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with the tight end on Thursday afternoon. Firkser was set to become an exclusive rights free agent in March.

Firkser, who has quietly been a clutch player for the Titans, originally joined Tennessee after a minicamp tryout in 2018.

In the 2019 regular season, Firkser reeled in 14 receptions for 204 yards and a touchdown in 15 games. During the playoffs, Firkser caught three passes for 45 yards and two touchdowns.

He saw action in 12 games for the Titans in 2018, finishing the year with 19 catches for 225 yards and a score.
