Prediction

Raptors 126, Nets 113

Moneyline (ML)

The RAPTORS (-167) stretched their win streak to 15 with a 137-126 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Toronto Monday. The Nets (+135) are coming off a 106-105 road win over the Indiana Pacers. The two Atlantic Division rivals met Saturday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, with the Raptors earning a 119-118 victory. The Raps now lead the season series 3-0 as they go for the 2019-20 sweep Wednesday.

Toronto is the play, as the odds for Brooklyn just aren’t tempting enough to deter against picking the team with 15 wins in a row. The Nets are an unimpressive 15-12 at home for the season, while the Raptors are 19-7 on the road. Back the Raptors on the ML, but the value is greater on the spread.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

Take the RAPTORS (-3.5, -115) to win by 3 or more points at Barclays Center. They won by just a point Saturday, but that was without All-Star PG Kyle Lowry. He returned against the T-Wolves and represents the greatest matchup advantage for Toronto with Irving still out of the Brooklyn lineup.

The Raps are 31-23 ATS overall and 14-12 on the road, while the Nets are 25-27 ATS overall and 15-12 at home. Toronto is 6-5 ATS against divisional opponents and Brooklyn is just 3-9 against teams from the Atlantic. The Raptors are also a league-best 23-9 ATS when playing after a single rest day.

Over/Under (O/U)

Side with the OVER 224.5 (-110). The Raptors have played to the Over in five straight games and they’re 30-23-1 against the number for the season. The Nets topped Wednesday’s projection in three of their last seven games. Saturday’s head-to-head contest played to a combined point total of 237.
