A lot has of fingers have been pointed and boos have been flung at Philadelphia 76ers and big man Joel Embiid in recent games. The passionate Philadelphia fan base has made it known that they are not happy with his play and they let him know about it.
Embiid then seemed to fire back at the home crowd when he drilled a big triple late in Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bulls by shushing the crowd and yelling something very unflattering to the Philadelphia fans. It then caused a lot of talking about what the Sixers are going to do with him going forward.
The big man then went to social media to embrace his role as the villain quoting a famous line from Harvey Dent from The Dark Knight.
Then, former Sixers forward and now Miami Heat leader Jimmy Butler crept into the comments. The comment seemed like an invite to Miami where “villains are welcome” and Embiid had a response.

In a city like Philadelphia where fans don’t overreact to anything at all, this is nothing, right? For those wondering, Embiid is under contract with the Sixers until 2023. [lawrence-related id=25513,25505,25477]
