[autotag]Mario Bautista[/autotag] sure made a statement on Saturday night.
The 26-year-old fighter scored a highlight-reel flying knee knockout on the preliminary card of UFC 247, which went down at Toyota Center in Houston. Bautista (8-1 MMA, 2-1 Ufc) stopped Miles Johns at the 1:41 mark of Round 2. He gave Johns his first professional loss.
With this victory, Bautista is now on a two-fight winning streak, bouncing back from his lone defeat to top contender Cory Sandhagen. The win over Johns marked Bautista’s first fight in 2020.
