The XFL’s opening weekend seems to have successfully captured the attention of NFL fans, and some NFL players were tuned in on Saturday to see Cardale Jones and the DC Defenders defeat the Seattle Dragons in the first game of the season.
From the sideline interviews – which delivered a hilariously not-safe-for-network-TV moment – to the XFL’s kickoff system, the XFL opener had current and former NFL players talking on social media.
Just turned on the XFL.
Kicker missed a field goal and they immediately interviewed him on the sideline asking what happened haha.
