Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson have become a highlight-creating duo in their short time together on the court this season and Thursday was the latest example. Ball and Williamson wowed fans earlier in the week with a three-quarters court alley-oop early in a loss to the Houston Rockets with the pinpoint 60-foot pass as impressive as the athletic finish.
In the third quarter of a blowout win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, Ball found Williamson for an alley-oop from half-court with the latter finishing in unsurprisingly powerful fashion. While the pass was shorter this time, the read was much more impressive with Williamson and Ball clearly on the same wavelength.

After building a lead of a dozen points in the first half, the Pelicans exploded in the third quarter to put the game out of reach for the Bulls and Williamson was largely the reason.
The rookie finished with a team-high 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting. Ball led the team in assists with 11 but none were prettier than his lob to Williamson.
