ROCK HILL — 2020 prospect Ger-Cari Caldwell announced his college destination on National Signing Day.
Caldwell chose in-state and SEC East foe South Carolina over the Vols.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver is from Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, S.C.
Northwestern head coach Page Wofford discussed Caldwell with Vols Wire.
“He is a X or Z,” Wofford said of Caldwell. “He is long, has good speed and is able to go get the ball.”
The Vols signed 21 players during the Early Signing Period and have received another player on National Signing Day. Dee Beckwith announced this morning that he has signed with Tennessee in the Vols’ 2020 recruiting class.
