Spencer Dinwiddie may not get the chance to regain his title as the NBA Skills Challenge champion, but Joe Harris has the opportunity to hold onto his NBA All-Star Weekend title.
Harris has received an invite to participate in the 2020 3-Point Contest, according to Brian Lewis of the New York Post. However, The Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter and 2019 3-Point Contest champion may not accept the invitation.
Harris may decide to take the time off so his body can recover. He’s had a “grueling summer,” according to Lewis, having traveled to China on two occasions — once for Team USA and once for the Nets — and Africa, as well.
Joe Harris has been invited to the 3-point contest at #NBA All-Star weekend, but still hasn’t made up his mind whether he’s going. Largely based on how his body feels, and if he needs time off. Had a grueling summer w/ two trips to China & one to Africa. #Nets
