Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich will be bringing in a familiar face to the coaching staff as the team is reportedly bringing in former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Mike Groh.

It isn’t clear yet what role Groh will have in the Colts coaching staff. They are looking for a defensive line coach, but that isn’t Groh’s area of expertise. We might not know in what capacity Groh will be working until the Colts announce the hire officially.
Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL radio broke the news while Joel A. Erickson of IndyStar confirmed it on Saturday.
UPDATED: Sources tell @SiriusXMNFL that former @Eagles OC Mike Groh is joining the @Colts coaching staff in a role TBD. Mike worked with IND HC Frank Reich when both were in PHI (2017)

Colts are hiring Mike Groh onto Frank Reich's coaching staff for a position that is still to be named, source confirms. @alexmarvez on it first.

When Reich was the offensive coordinator for the Eagles during their Super Bowl season in 2017, Groh was the wide receivers coach. When Reich took the head coach job with the Colts, Groh was promoted to be the offensive coordinator.
However, following the Eagles’ playoff loss against the Seattle Seahawk, Groh was fired as the offensive coordinator.
It will be interesting to see what role Groh will have, but it seems the Colts will continue to tweak their coaching staff.
