CeeDee Lamb scouting report, potential fit with the Eagles

Here is a scouting report of former Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and his potential fit with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Former Oklahoma University wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is regarded as one of the best receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft. Lamb ended his 2019 season with 62 receptions, 1,327 yards, and 14 touchdowns. The 6’2” 190-pound receiver, who is only 20 years old and turns 21 in April, was named a First-Team All-American after his impressive 2019 season.

Philadelphia Eagles fans haven’t talked as much about Lamb as other receivers prospects, mainly because it seems like a long shot that he makes it to the 21st pick. However, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein released his first mock draft, and Zierlein had the Eagles selecting Lamb at pick 21. This has sparked some excitement in the fan base.

Here is a scouting report and breakdown of Lamb’s strengths and weaknesses and his potential fit with the Eagles:

Strengths: Lamb has “IT” and “IT” is so fun to watch. He pops on film and you can tell he is a man among boys. Everything he does is so smooth, beautiful, and just so natural.

Catching the ball is easy for Lamb and he can pluck the ball out of the air with no problems. He is one of those receivers that is always open, even when he is covered. He will win contested catches and always give A+ effort when the ball is in the air.

He is always working to get open and he gets open a lot because he understands the game. He will find the soft spot in the zone or work to help his quarterback find him.

When the ball is in his hands, he is always trying to score. He just feels the play and somehow always makes the right move. He is an amazing athlete and has more than enough speed to succeed in the NFL.

He plays so physical and is the definition of a “DUDE” on the field. You better come ready to play against him because he is always bringing it. His fire and passion to play the game is fun to watch. He gets after it in the run game and gives the effort you want to see.
