The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed free agent center Marques Bolden of the Canton Charge to a 10-day contract, the team announced on Thursday morning.
The former Duke product appeared in Summer League and the preseason with the Cavaliers, averaging 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in seven games between the California Classic in Sacramento and Las Vegas.
The Cavaliers signed Bolden to an Exhibit 10 contract and eventually cut him prior to the start of the season. Bolden has since played with the Charge in the G League, averaging 9.1 points in 28 games played this season.
With the addition of Bolden, the Cavaliers’ roster stands at 15 with a pair of two-way contracts.

The former five-star prospect will give the Cavaliers a solid rim protector and a physical presence in the paint. He was an efficient scorer during his time at Duke and that has carried over into this season after converting on 63.6% of his field-goal attempts, which ranks 11th in the G League.
