The Brooklyn Nets’ injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons looks reminiscent of the ones they had in the 2019 portion of this season. But that’s mainly because Dzanan Musa and Theo Pinson are included while both are on assignment with Brooklyn’s G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. Additionally, Brooklyn’s two-way players, Chris Chiozza and Jeremiah Martin, are with Long Island.
The only other player with Brooklyn included on the report — aside from Kevin Durant (right Achilles rehab) — is Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. He’s battling an illness.
Which means DeAndre Jordan could make his return. He’s been sidelined for the last five games due to a right middle finger dislocation.
Kenny Atkinson told reporters at Tuesday’s practice he expects Jordan to play, per Malika Andrews of ESPN.
DeAndre Jordan — who has been out with a dislocated his finger since Jan. 20 — is expected to play Wednesday against the Pistons, Kenny Atkinson said.

Kyrie Irving could be back in the mix, as well. Atkinson would not disclose Irving’s status at Tuesday’s practice, though he did confirm the point guard took part.
Following the death of Kobe Bryant, someone Irving was very close to, the Nets point guard was unable to play in Sunday’s game against the New York Knicks.
