The sports world was shaken greatly on Sunday afternoon when the news broke that Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in California.
Bryant became a legend in the NBA, but his impact was felt across the sports world. Children playing football, basketball and baseball looked up to the competitor that Bryant was throughout his Hall of Fame career.
Bryant was 41-years-old. He had an impact on athletes across sports, and Colts’ players reacted to the news on Twitter.
This brings tears to my eyes man… no way man. 👑8-24👑

The ultimate competitor.. a savage on the court. One of the 🐐’s, who was transitioning to life after basketball in beautiful fashion.
I enjoyed watching him become super dad & I was looking forward to everything else he’d accomplish and contribute to our world
I’m bummed.
