A.J. Brown had a solid rookie season, quickly cementing his place as the Tennessee Titans’ No. 1 wide receiver.

Brown has received plenty of recognition on his opening season campaign after being drafted at No. 51 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.

You can add being named one of ESPN’s top five rookies to the list of honors and accomplishments.

The network’s Jeff Legwold placed him at No. 4 on the list, ahead of Washington Redskins wideout Terry McLaurin and directly behind Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa placed at No. 1 in Legwold’s rankings.

“In the 11 games that Ryan Tannehill started at quarterback for the Titans, Brown had four 100-yard games, caught six of his eight touchdowns and averaged at least 15 yards per catch seven times,” he wrote. “And he topped 20 yards per catch four times during that stretch. Some in the league believe Brown was actually the NFL’s best rookie by the time Week 17 rolled around.”

The Ole Miss product finished out the season with 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns, and an average of 20.2 yards per catch that ranked him second among all NFL receivers.

Expect Brown to continue to come into his own and become even more of a steady factor in the 2020 season.
