As was the case last week, the Green Bay Packers had to make a late addition to the injury report due to an illness that continues to plague the roster.
The Packers listed punter JK Scott as questionable with an illness on Saturday, just one day before the team takes on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.
Last week, the Packers added cornerback Josh Jackson to the injury report one day before taking on the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round. On the day of the game, the Packers had to list right tackle Bryan Bulaga and backup offensive tackle Alex Light as questionable with the same illness, and Bulaga ended up missing the game.
The illness has given the Packers trouble for over a month.
It’s unclear how the Packers would handle Scott missing Sunday’s title game. They still have an open roster spot and could add a backup option before kickoff.
Scott punted six times but struggled in the first meeting against the 49ers in Santa Clara.
Scott joins fullback Danny Vitale (knee) as the only players with injury designations for the Packers.
