Tacko Fall was perfect on Friday for 10th G League double-double

The former UCF center made all eight of his shot attempts on Friday with the Maine Red Claws in a loss to the Long Island Nets.

Boston Celtics two-way rookie Tacko Fall tallied 16 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks with the Maine Red Claws on Friday night in a 111-102 loss to the Long Island Nets.

The 7-foot-5 center finished a perfect 8-of-8 from the field in 22 minutes of work off of the bench. Fall picked up his 10th double-double with the Red Claws, which is good for eighth-most in the G League.

Fall was once again active on the offensive glass, finishing with four rebounds on that end of the floor. He proved to be rather dominant down low and he even flashed his post moves on a few occasions.

Fall has been perfect from the field a few times prior to Friday night. He went 5-of-5 against the Capital City Go-Go on Dec. 27 and he also went 9-of-9 against the Raptors 905 on Nov. 17.

After his performance on Friday, Fall is now averaging 13.8 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 16 games played. Fall is fourth in the G League in blocks and ninth in rebounds among all players.

The Red Claws play next on Sunday against the College Park Skyhawks.
