Odell Beckham Jr.’s trip to the College Football Playoff final was an eventful one, and his actions inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome have resulted in an investigation into the money he handed out to players on the field, along with a charge of simple assault following a confrontation with a police officer inside the LSU locker room after the victory.
The former Tigers star also had a run in with police when he entered the stands where the LSU band was located, which was captured on a video that went viral on Thursday.
In the videos, Beckham walks into the LSU band section, and is eventually ushered back on to the field by a police officer.
OBJ had quite the night.

It’s being speculated that Beckham Jr. may have tried to get the band to play the banned song “Neck,” short for “Talkin’ Out Da Side of Ya Neck” by Cameo and Dem Franchize Boys. The song is accompanied by a profane fan chant, which led the school to bar the band from playing it in 2010. The band never did play the song, according to The State, but many fans performed the chant during a rendition of a Panic! At The Disco song, and Joe Burrow even appeared to join in. Beckham Jr. reportedly tried to get the band to play the song during a game in 2017.
Later on in the evening, Beckham confronted a police officer in the LSU locker room, and appeared to slap the officer from behind. On Thursday, NOLA.com reported that New Orleans police had “obtained an arrest warrant accusing NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. of simple battery.”
