Prediction
Wizards 118, Bulls 115
Moneyline (ML)
The Bulls (-189) and WIZARDS (+155) are in 10th and 12th, respectively, in the Eastern Conference. Chicago is 7-14 at home for the season and 2-8 over its last 10 games. Washington is just 5-15 as the road team, but it has gone 4-6 across its last 10 games overall. Both teams are coming off a loss against vastly superior opponents, with the Bulls losing 113-101 to the Boston Celtics and the Wizards falling 127-116 to the Utah Jazz.
Chicago claimed a 110-109 overtime victory over Washington Dec. 18 in the first meeting of the year between the two sides. This pick for Wednesday’s contest is based on the Bulls being undeserving of such a low number, especially following such a tightly-played game within the last month. There’s great value in backing the underdog Wizards in what should be priced much closer to a coin-flip game.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
Take the added insurance on the WIZARDS (+5.5, -129). They’ll need to stay within 5 points in a loss or win outright. Washington has lost by an average of 5 points per game this season, while Chicago loses by an average of 2 PPG. The half-point ‘hook’ is a big help in this bet.
The Wiz are 19-19-1 against the spread overall but 10-9-1 on the road. The Bulls are 19-21-1 ATS overall and just 9-12 on home court.
Over/Under (O/U)
Take the OVER 230.5 (-106) with injuries continuing to ravage both sides and weakening the defensive play. Washington is 22-16-1 against the Over/Under and tops the projected totals by an average of 5.2 points per game.
