It sure feels like Cincinnati Bengals fans won something big during Monday night’s LSU win over Clemson in the national title game.
There, Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow put on another show en route to smashing through some records, cementing his status as the likely top overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
There is still plenty of time between now and the draft but the writing has been on the wall since about the halfway point of the season — quarterback is the move for the Bengals. That Monday night was just another showcase of one of the best quarterback prospects to enter the draft in years was just the proverbial icing on the cake.

What’s that? Joe Burrow can’t turn around the Bengals by himself? Well then good thing he doesn’t have to. pic.twitter.com/YIirvbZ8UK
