Tacko Fall blocked 5 shots on Saturday in return to the G League

The 7-foot-5 center has swatted 11 total shots over his last two games with the Maine Red Claws in the G League.

Boston Celtics two-way rookie Tacko Fall tallied 14 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots Saturday night with the Maine Red Claws in the G League.

The 7-foot-5 center finished by shooting 5-of-6 from the field in 22 minutes of work off of the bench in the 100-93 win over the Grand Rapids Drive. The five-block performance on the defensive end now gives Fall 11 total over his last two games with the Red Claws.

Fall recently re-joined the Red Claws after a brief stint with the Celtics. He logged a season-high 10 minutes on Wednesday and finished with four points, three rebounds and one steal in the loss. He did not play with the Celtics on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers.

After his performance on Saturday, Fall is averaging 13.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.2 blocks in 13 games played. Fall is third in the G League in blocks and ninth in rebounds among all players.
