One of the most important parts of the offseason NFL draft process for teams is the variety of all-star games. Aside from the Senior Bowl, the East-West Shrine Bowl is one of the premier events for potential draft prospects to showcase their talents. And the coaching staff are typically comprised of various assistant coaches from around the NFL.
This year the Steelers get two coaches on the roster. For the East squad, Denzel Martin will coach special teams and for the West squad, Blaine Stewart will coach the quarterbacks
These will both be excellent opportunities for the Steelers to coach up and scout up the players on both rosters up close. The Steelers need to make the most of the 2020 draft in anticipation of the return of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
