Report: Bills’ Brian Daboll in final three for Browns job

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll in final three for Cleveland Browns job.

Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is evidently a finalist of sorts for the vacant Cleveland Browns head coaching job.

According to the Boston Globe, Daboll, Patriots OC Josh McDaniels and Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski are the final three. The report indicates the Browns might make a decision as early as Friday evening.

Daboll interviewed for the position on Monday and like McDaniels, has a background with the Patriots in various assistant roles, which could also connect the Globe to the report.

The Bills has the No. 23 overall offense in the NFL in 2019 but quarterback Josh Allen made positive strides in Year 2 under Daboll.
