Boston plays the second game of a back-to-back after hosting the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday night. That’s a tough turnaround considering concerns about the health of Kemba Walker, who has missed time as of late due to illness. Fortunately for Boston, road games have not been a major concern, as Brad Stevens’ team has won four of their last five away from TD Garden and will look to earn its first win against the Sixers in three tries.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia comes into this game well rested with its last game being a 120-113 home win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Josh Richardson led the Sixers in scoring with 23 points in that contest, as the Sixers pushed their home record to 17-2 for the season. Philadelphia has injury concerns of its own. All-Star big man Joel Embiid suffered a dislocated finger against the Thunder and will sit out this game as a precaution.
