Prediction

Rockets 110, Thunder 106

Moneyline (ML)

The ROCKETS (-149) extended their winning streak to three games with a 122-115 victory over the lowly Atlanta Hawks Wednesday. G James Harden finished with 41 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as PG Russell Westbrook had the night off for rest purposes. The Thunder (+125) beat the Brooklyn Nets 111-103 Tuesday and have won six of their last seven games.

The Thunder are 12-6 at home while the Rockets are 12-7 as visitors this season. The Rockets claimed a 116-112 win in Houston Oct. 28 in the first and only head-to-head meeting thus far. Houston is an adequate 2-2 on the second half of back-to-backs and OKC is just 5-4 with a rest advantage. Back the visitors.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

Get better value on the ROCKETS (-1.5, -125) on the spread, where they’ll need to win by just 2 or more points. The Rockets are 18-17 against the spread overall and 9-9 on the road, while the Thunder are an impressive 25-12 ATS overall and 11-7 at home. Look for a rested Westbrook to be amped up against his former team once again after going for 21 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists in the season’s first meeting.

Over/Under (O/U)

Lean to the UNDER 222.5 (-106). Both teams have played to the Under more often this season, with Houston 16-20 against the line and OKC going 16-21. A slightly quieter performance from Harden can be expected after his high usage Wednesday.
