Philadelphia 76ers guard Josh Richardson played four seasons for the Miami Heat where the temperature rarely dropped below 70 degrees in the wintertime. In Philadelphia, the winters are much harsher and there is a chance for snow, which is what Richardson wants to see.
On Wednesday, the city of Philadelphia received a lot of “snow squall” warnings, but in reality, it snowed for only a few minutes before it stopped and the sun came out. To the weather’s credit, it did snow at a blizzard-like pace for those few minutes, but it did not snow long enough for it to stick.
Richardson, who is from Oklahoma originally, was upset with the small amount of time it did snow.

It has been an adjustment weather-wise for the Philadelphia shooting guard as he turned the heat on in his car for the first time in five years this season, but it’s clear that he does like the snow.
