Anthony Davis faced off against his old team for the second time this season on Friday night at the Staples Center, and he had another monster night against the Pelicans.
Davis was unstoppable on the offensive end, shooting 71 percent from the field with the help of LeBron James, who finished the game with 15 assists. Davis also hit three shots from behind the arc, and was a perfect 13-of-13 from the free-throw line, finishing with 46 points and 13 rebounds on the night.

Davis dropped 41 on the Pelicans on the road back in November. The win extended the Lakers’ current winning streak to four, and they still have two very winnable games left on their current five-game homestand, against the Pistons and Knicks.
After the game, LeBron James took a shot at the critics who argued that the Pelicans won the Anthony Davis trade over the summer.
