The struggles for the Philadelphia 76ers continued on Friday night as they were not able to overcome 44 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds from James Harden and the Houston Rockets in a 118-108 loss. The loss completes a nightmarish road trip as they went 0-4 on the trip following the Christmas Day win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Ben Simmons was terrific for Philadelphia as he led the way with 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, Tobias Harris had 24 points, and Joel Embiid had 20 points and 11 rebounds. Trey Burke was the only other Sixer in double-figures as he scored 11 points off the bench.
Individually, Simmons had a terrific game and he was aggressive all night long. He showed off some athleticism and he was great on the defensive end as well.

Al Horford’s struggles continued as he finished with seven points on 3-for-8 shooting and eight rebounds and Josh Richardson added seven points and eight assists. As a team, Philadelphia shot 6-for-26 from deep and shot 46.7% from the floor overall.
The Sixers will finally come home on Monday when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder as they look to finally get back on track. [lawrence-related id=22616,22610,22592]
