Congratulations to Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams, who became a father for a third time last week to a son named Syx.
And yes, it would appear that Williams bestowed that name on his kid in honor of the award he’s won three times — Sixth Man of the Year, which he’s won in 2019, 2018 and in 2015 while he was with the Toronto Raptors.
When asked about how he came up with the name, he said, “Nothing was coming to me, so I just said, you know what, I’m going to name him Syx, spell it a little different and just have some fun with it.”
