Former New England Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour was named as a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist for the second straight year.
Seymour spent eight seasons with the Patriots and four seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He accrued seven Pro Bowl nods, three First-Team All-Pro honors and three Super Bowl rings in his illustrious career. He totaled 498 tackles, 57.5 sacks 79 quarterback hits and 91 tackles for loss throughout that duration.
He joins 14 other players as finalists, including Troy Polamalu, Reggie Wayne and Torry Holt.
