The Brooklyn Nets have now lost four games in a row following Thursday’s 123-111 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
The team struggles to score without Spencer Dinwiddie on the floor. Things become even more challenging when he’s not at his best. Simply put, the Nets need help.
It looks like Brooklyn is about to get some.
Caris LeVert has been working his way back from his right thumb surgery and started to make significant progress with right before Christmas. He made his return to practice and has been escalating the level of contact he can take part in.
Apparently, LeVert has gone through enough to show the Nets he is ready. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews, LeVert is expected to make his return on Saturday when the Nets host the Toronto Raptors at Barclays Center at 6 p.m.
LeVert last appeared in a game for the Nets back on November 10 when they lost to the Phoenix Suns.
