For the fourth consecutive year, former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Tony Boselli will be a Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalist. The league made the announcement Thursday that he’d be joining 14 others on the ballot for a chance to be inducted through the Hall of Fame’s 2020 class.

Boselli was the Jags’ first-ever draft selection in the 1995 NFL Draft and played with the team until 2001. He made the Pro Bowl in each of his last seasons with the Jags, was a three time first-team All-Pro (1997-99) and was named to the All-Decade team for the 90s.
The HOF class of 2020 will be named on the eve of Super Bowl LIV in Miami. To commemorate the league’s 100th season this year’s class will have a record number of members, including five modern-era players, 10 senior inductees, three contributors, and two coaches.
Boselli wasn’t alone up until this point as former Jags running back and teammate of Boselli, Fred Taylor, made the semifinalist round. Unfortunately, he’ll have to wait until 2021 to try and advance to the finalist round as he wasn’t one of the five modern-era players named to the last round of this year’s class.
