It’s a new year, new decade … and new hairstyle for Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma.
The third-year pro decided to go blond for 2020, and even though he’s dabbled with the hair color before over the summer with some highlights, fans were still pretty shocked to see him go full-on golden haired before the Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns 117-107 on Wednesday night.
So of course, everyone made lots of jokes, including die-hards at the Staples Center. Per Los Angeles Times beat writer Tania Ganguli, Kuzma went to shoot free throws and a fan yelled, “Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?”
As the newly blonde Kyle Kuzma went to the free throw line, a guy in the crowd shouted "WILL THE REAL SLIM SHADY PLEASE STAND UP." Lakers bench started cracking up. Kuz smiled.
