Joe Mixon went bowling after his Cincinnati Bengals beat the Cleveland Browns and came up with a strike by knocking down an official who got in the way.
Kidding aside, Mixon went viral after the 33-23 win over the Browns for accidentally knocking over an official after the final kneel-down, as seen in the clip above.
The star running back had every right to celebrate after his 162-yard performance on a 6.2 average with two rushing scores — it was only his team’s second win of the season. He’s put up nearly 500 yards over his last four games and his big performance Sunday pushed him over the 1,100-yard mark on the season.
Mixon made sure to apologize for the helmet gaffe after the game:
I will always apologize for a mistake however unintentional and accidental. To the ref Iām sorry I never saw you coming. Will never apologize for my excitement when the Bengals win!! #WhoDey already thinking about 2020 seasonšš½
