Winners and losers after Bengals beat Browns to finish 2-14

Winners and losers from Browns vs. Bengals.

Led by a monster day from Joe Mixon, the Cincinnati Bengals put down the Cleveland Browns 33-23 to close the 2019 season.

Before the Bengals head off toward the draft with the No. 1 pick in hand, let’s take a look at the winners and losers from the contest.

Winner: Joe Mixon

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (28) wipes his face on the sideline in the third quarter of the NFL Week 15 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots at Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019. The Bengals continued on their path to the No. 1 draft pick with a 34-13 loss to the Patriots.

Mixon hitting 1,000 yards was never in doubt for this one. But he went well over the 25 he needed to do so, piling up 162 yards and a score on a 6.2 per-carry average with two touchdowns. Rest assured his play will carry over to next year for what should be an offensive on the rebound.
