What seems like the end of the partnership between the Washington Redskins and Josh Norman will have an odd capper in Week 17 when the team takes on the Dallas Cowboys.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Norman won’t even travel with the team Sunday to Dallas.
Norman was phased out of the rotation completely down the stretch of this season as Redskins coaches got a look at the future by playing younger guys at most spots in the defensive secondary.
This escalated to the point of the Redskins bringing on practice squad players and waiver claims, keeping Norman to a subpackage role that never really resulted in snaps, either.
With Norman sick, he won’t even make an appearance on the sideline in Dallas.
